2A Rallies

Second Amendment rallies put gun owners in front of the people who write gun laws. The Gun Websites crew has covered them since the Arizona Capitol rallies of the late 2010s, through the national rally wave of 2020 and the move to virtual rallies when the pandemic hit.

Rally Coverage by Year

The 2020 Rally Wave

In early 2020 Second Amendment rallies spread from Virginia, where tens of thousands of gun owners turned out in Richmond in January, to capitols across the country. By mid February the crew had counted at least 31 rallies planned, and covered them on the channel and on Gun Calendars as they happened.

Virtual Rallies

When COVID-19 shut down large gatherings, the rallies moved online. In October 2020 the crew helped run a virtual live 2A rally and a 2nd Amendment social media rally, and talked through the plans live with CloverTac.

After 2020

In-person rallies came back as restrictions lifted. The crew drove to Phoenix again for the Arizona 2A Rally in February 2021 and went live from a 2A rally in Washington, D.C. with the DC Project in September 2022.
