Washington DC 2A Rally History
2019 was a turning point for Second Amendment activism. The U.S. House passed a universal background check bill early in the year, and by the fall gun owners were organizing rallies at capitols around the country. The November 2 rally in Washington, D.C. came just days before Virginia’s legislative elections, which set off the much larger rallies in Richmond the following January.
Our Take on Washington DC 2A Rally 2019
Crowd size is always the first argument after a rally, so the crew settled it the hard way: counting everyone in the footage, section by section. It is a habit worth copying, because honest numbers carry more weight with legislators than estimates from either side.
