The April 2019 Wanenmacher’s Tulsa Arms Show was a full Gun Channels.com members trip, with live shows from the floor on day one and day two and an After Action report the next week. The loot kept coming for months, from CloverTac’s Tulsa patches and a box of Tulsa finds from Mr Wright to a .50 BMG crate added to the collection at the November show.

Tulsa Arms Show History

Wanenmacher’s Tulsa Arms Show started in 1955 as a club show of the Indian Territory Gun Collectors with 19 tables in the old Tulsa armory. Joe Wanenmacher took it over in 1968, when it had 217 tables, and built it into what is widely called the largest gun show in the world, with about 4,000 tables and nearly six miles of exhibits filling the Quik Trip Center at Expo Square twice a year.

Our Take on Tulsa Arms Show April 2019

Doing Tulsa live with members turned the show into a shared event instead of a solo trip. Viewers who could not make it to Oklahoma rode along aisle by aisle, and the After Action report caught what the live streams missed.

Our Tulsa Arms Show April 2019 Adventures

The trip started with a live meetup with Gun Channels.com members on Friday, followed by live coverage on day one and day two of the show. Back home, the mail kept bringing Tulsa loot, from CloverTac patches to a care package from Mr Wright.

CloverTac’s Tulsa patches arrived in the mail after the April show and were opened on Mail Call Monday, along with patches including a Smith and Wesson collectors patch and a New York City police patch.
